Key Responsibilities

• Execute construction tasks as per project plans and specifications

• Collaborate with site managers, subcontractors, and other trades

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents

• Maintain a clean and safe worksite at all times

Requirements

• Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) certification (or equivalent)

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential or commercial building

• Strong carpentry and general construction skills

• Ability to read and interpret building plans

• Solid knowledge of NZ building standards and health & safety procedures

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team

Desirable

• Experience managing small teams or apprentices

• Own tools and reliable transport

• Additional trade qualifications (e.g., plumbing, electrical)
